Forda Barn
The Barn at Forda is a luxury cottage, converted from traditional Cornish stone and slate farm buildings of the old Forda farm, providing a holiday home full of character and furnished and equipped to the highest standards. It has its own private garden and patio with gas barbecue, and private driveway with space for several cars.
Entrance to the property is into the dining area and kitchen, which enjoys an attractive beamed ‘cathedral’ ceiling. Fully equipped kitchen, including Rangemaster cooker, American style fridge/freezer, Rangemaster wine cooler, dishwasher and microwave. A separate utility room contains a washer/dryer.
The lounge is spacious, with French doors opening out on to the private patio area. There is a 55″ smart TV and DVD player. A woodburner has recently been added for those cosy nights in.
The downstairs benefits from underfloor heating.
Upstairs, there are two large bedrooms (one king size and one twin) and a small bathroom.
Downstairs, there are two further bedrooms. One can be made up as twin beds or a super kingsize, with French doors opening on to the patio. The fourth bedroom has bunk beds and is located off the kitchen.
The family bathroom has a whirlpool bath and separate shower.
The Barn comfortably sleeps six, or eight including the bunk beds.
Pets are not accepted in this cottage.
